London ring

Well, what a week!
The Gliders defeated Germany in the final 48-46. Great work!
In a fantastic lead up to London, they are now flying back to their respective states for the last few weeks training before they leave for the UK.
Bridie heads off to Perth on Tuesday for her final couple of weeks preparation, where she will be training with the Aussie coach and several other Gliders team members.
She will also be under the loving care of her big sister Leisa!
The girls were presented with lovely gold rings after their win yesterday(see below).
It is fitting she is wearing it on her left ring finger, as she is currently "married to basketball"!

What a cliffhanger!

The Gliders played a fantastic game to beat Germany by one point! (after drawing...twice!)
Shelley and Bridie look pretty pleased about it!
The Gliders leave the Gold Coast tomorrow to compete in the World Challenge in Sydney. They will play Japan, China and Germany during the tournament. First game is Wednesday. Will keep you posted!!
