Game 4 - AUS vs. NED

Mickey here.

So here's the lowdown on last night's game.

Basically, Australia lead the entire game, keeping a sometimes-close, eventually not-so-close, lead. It was very stressful. But also exciting. And emotional. A sea of stress, excitement and emotion.

I like to think my fervor and audacity helped. As well as the six or so beverages I had beforehand. (Cheers, APC who held a thank you event for the families and supporters of Australian Paralympians. Also cheers to the pikers whose free drink cards I got).

In the final few minutes it became clear that we were taking it home, and won by a whopping 9 points. We're now currently top in the pool. Take that karate chop, Canada.

Overall, a brilliant win and a brilliant game.

We next play Mexico in the quarter final, 10PM Melbourne time Wednesday. Woot woot.
